Super Foods Again
Who out there gets so confused by all of the different opinions of “super foods”, “good foods”, “healthy foods” and so on? Well, I do.
I get excited reading “Eat To Live” by Dr. Joel Fuhrman. It gives tons of information on the benefits of eating raw and natural foods. Ok, great. Well, he goes on to let us know that dairy, and meats, chicken, beef, e
tc. are not good food options. Hmmmmmm, then I wonder; why do I read and hear about how good dairy is for you and what about the “food pyramid”?
Don’t get me wrong, I like what Dr. Fuhrman is saying but why can’t we hear the same thing from all of the experts?
For instance, I read and article on WebMD with the “top superfoods”. Well, I see beans, blueberries, broccoli; great! But, there comes turkey, salmon, yogurt. So, what do we do? What is right?
Well, I just try to look at it this way. For me, I will try to eat as much raw, fresh and unprocessed foods as possible. I know I will eat dairy and meat but will try to limit those items, although I LOVE YOGURT!
So, it is like most everything we come across in life; everyone has a slightly different answer and we have to find out what works best for us.
