Starting the day with a bowl of oatmeal is one of the health friendly things that you can do. It fills you up for longer and releases energy slowly.

By eating a variety of fruit and vegetables, you will also help to keep the heart healthy. They have a multitude of antioxidants in them and the fiber within them also helps. Not only will they help to guard the heart but they will also give you many other benefits including better skin and increased energy.

The idea is to eat as fresh as possible. Fresh foods help to fight free radicals and protect the blood vessels.
